Press Release May 2025 Vauxfest Returns to Stonham Barns Park for Second Year for Bumper Show! Much-loved Vauxhall, Bedford and Opel cars, trucks and vans will be on display at Mid-Suffolk Showground Stonham Barns Park - one of Suffolk’s premier leisure, retail and holiday destinations – is hosting the second Vauxfest show on the weekend of 21 and 22 June. In 2024 Vauxfest moved from Northampton to Stonham Barns Park and it showcased Vauxhall, Bedford and Opel cars, trucks and vans on the Mid-Suffolk showground for the first time. Following on from the success of the show the event will return this year. Show organisers, Richard Watt and John Ankerman, were delighted with the move to Suffolk. Richard explains: ‘Vauxfest is a mega show with lots of enthusiasts following the Vauxhall, Bedford and Opel marques with models past and present. As Vauxhall and Opel are one of the oldest established vehicle manufactures and distribution companies, its cars and vehicles are known and loved by many. The cars are much sought after, and the owners are more than happy to show their ‘pride and joys’ at shows like these. We have families who come to our shows year on year and each year we attract new Vauxhall, Bedford and Opel followers.’ ‘Once a Vauxhall, Bedford and Opel owner, always an enthusiast. The families turned out in force last year to attend the event at Stonham Barns Park, and we expect they will do the same this year. We had everything from a Lotus Carlton to a Cavalier Mk1 and everything in between. Cars were displayed in every colour and customisation. It was a feast for the eyes.’ Vauxhall branded vehicles – with the classic advertising phrase Once Driven Forever Smitten - are still produced in the UK as well as in Opel factories in Germany, Spain and Poland. As well as the display of vehicles, there was a Trader’s Area and Autojumble to add to the activities over the weekend.
